My Yard Is In Bloom
I was out mowing today and got to looking at the perennials that were in bloom and it dawned on me it is actually the middle of May already. there is a hidden picture snapper in one of them. I love the early blooms.

A Plant from my Friend Ellie
Ellie dropped by one afternoon around the end of November and gave me a pot with a stub of green showing. First it form a small bud and then grew and grew and finally bloomed today. It is gorgeous on my dining room table. Thank you, Ellie for the pleasure of a growing plant.

Yesterday in northwestern Montana we had a glorious day of sunshine and the temperature locally was 72 degrees. Survival in a Rain Storm
Most of my flowers took a drippy hit from a recent two-day downpour. They will survive, but the begonias are thriving. They seemed to have lapped up moisture like a child slurping juice or a baby elephant filling his trunk. They are fat and lush.
